Thank you for your interest in the dARTboard, the Foundation’s new digital art space for showcasing the talents of foreign-born individuals working in the realm of new media art. To ensure the best possible experience for both the artists and visitors, we are delaying its opening, until Spring 2012. We want everything perfect before we unveil our premiere exhibit, featuring the work of the artist chosen from our first dART Call for Entries in Digital Art.

Please update your calendars, marking the launch of the dARTboard for Spring 2012! We look forward to seeing you then.

The dARTboard, a new digital art space built for the dART initiative, short for “digital art,” was developed to celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of foreign-born artists working in the realm of new media art.

All the works shown in this premiere digital art space will be submissions by foreign-born artists living permanently in the United States, using computer-based and new media technologies.

Following review by an expert in the field, one applicant for the annual dART Call for Entries in Digital Art is chosen to exhibit work in this new digital art space; he or she will also receive an Artist’s Honorarium of $5,000. The dARTboard is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2012 on Vilcek.org.
