Ronnie Mewengkang, CFM, FMP
Chief of Facilities and Security
Chief of Facilities and Security Ronnie Mewengkang ensures the maintenance of the Vilcek Foundation’s offices and exhibition spaces, and oversees its security systems, both at its headquarters and at its new location, currently under renovation.
Since 2011, he has directed the construction of the foundation’s new headquarters, a five-story historic building on New York’s Upper East Side, which will include two floors of exhibition space. Mr. Mewengkang works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, insurance brokers, and city officials to facilitate the process and to ensure the foundation’s wide-ranging facility needs—from public gathering to residential spaces—are optimally met.
Prior to joining the Vilcek Foundation in 2009, Mr. Mewengkang worked in both the private and non-profit sectors. Mr. Mewengkang completed his Bachelor of Science degree in international economics at Marymount Manhattan College, and his Master of Science degree in construction administration at Columbia University. He is a Facility Management Professional and Certified Facility Manager through the International Facility Management Association.
