Anne Schruth

Associate Program Officer, The Vilcek Foundation

Anne Schruth, serving as the Associate Program Officer for the Vilcek Foundation, oversees the coordination of on-site Foundation events and assists in the planning and implementation of the Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise. Her experience in the nonprofit sector — in particular, in the marketing department of Amnesty International — gives her valuable insight into the complexities of human rights issues, including those surrounding immigration. Ms. Schruth also brings to her position at the Foundation a special interest and background in the arts. She has been both an art critic and a freelance writer for a contemporary arts publication and was a member of the blog team at The Huffington Post, an online newspaper. Ms. Schruth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, where she studied anthropology and history.
